Here are a series of four photos take of the same Banner Bar installation over a period of 6+ months. Despite windy fall weather and the beginning of our windy spring weather, the 3' x 12' banner still looks as good a new. Banner Installation - September 17, 2020 We installed the banner and the Banner Bar kit on September 17, 2020. The banner was sized at 3' x 12', printed on 13 oz. matte banner material and finished with our thermal welded hem. Grommets were placed approx. every 24" across the top and one extra on each side. Normally we like four grommets on each end (counting the corner grommets) but we went ahead and installed this one with three grommets on each side. Our client purchased the 12' to 16' 3-Post Kit which is required to display banners larger than 8' wide. This kit was installed on three 6'-6" long T-posts using the included "center T-clip" for connecting two telescoping Banner Bars together. December 2, 2020 - Cold December Temps We took this photo on December 2, 2020 to record how the banner was looking approximately two and a half months after the banner was installed. Other than some wrinkles due to the cold December day, the banner was in a perfect and readable condition. It had weathered a very windy late fall well. March 12, 2021 - Starting to get a feel of spring! On March 12, 2021, approximately 6 months after the installation, the 3' x 12' banner is still in great condition. The banner did not show any signs of wear. The left T-post moved a little due to the expansive soil in Western Colorado but is still very much intact. March 23, 2021 - After Recent High Winds On March 23rd we were in the area so we took one more photo. We've had some recent winds in the 30 to 45 MPH category and this banner still looks great! Other banners around town blew down. All of our local Banner Bar installations look great despite the recent high winds. In the next few months we'll recommend new bungees for this banner installation, but other than that, it's been a maintenance free banner installation. Remember, a banner on the ground is a waste of your money.
